Gold School - Pilot Workshop

Be a part of the first ever class in my new workshop series ‘Gold School’
In this pilot workshop you’ll be part of a small group that will come to my studio for the day to learn about the wonders of surface gilding and directional burnishing.
I’ll guide you through the process of making your very own 23.5 carat gold skull to take home at the end of day, framed and ready to hang on your wall. In the process you will have learnt all about how to use oil based gold size to go away and add a golden touch to any of your own projects.
No previous gilding or sign painting experience is necessary, this workshop is for anyone who can hold a brush (even if you haven’t held one since school!)
All materials, tools and lunch on the day are included in the price.
Group size is limited to just four people to make sure everyone gets plenty of care and attention along the way.
I’ve wanted to run workshops for years, and I’m so glad I’ve finally decided to get the ball rolling with this pilot class. The price reflects that this is still a pilot and there may be some bumps that need ironing out but I’m everyone will go home with a completed work, I’ll make sure of it.
