A Signed and numbered limited edition of 50 five-layer screen prints, hand finished with 23.5 carat gold leaf.
My most popular edition ever, this print visually reimagines an old Irish fisherman’s phrase as a classic Renaissance atlas with allegorical scenes for each of the four elements in the corners.
There’s quite a bit going on in this print in terms of symbolism and structure so I’ve made a mini lecture for you to enjoy that tells the full story embedded within the artwork which you can watch on youtube here.
For this sixth edition I’ve taken inspiration from the timeless elegance of blue and white pottery and used four different tones of blue for the palette.
Each of these prints has been made by hand in London with master printer Mansons Press. Because its made by hand there may be some slight variations in the print you receive compared to the one in the photos but overall the consistency is incredibly high.
