Alphabet Block I - Glass, steel, 23.5 carat gold, mother of pearl inlay and enamel paints

This sculpture is my take on the classic toddler toy: the alphabet block. Instead of wood mine is made from a welded steel frame, powder coated in a midnight blue. The five glass panels embedded in the frame each have a letter rendered in mirror finish gold leaf and enamel paints using the classic sing painting technique of reverse-glass gilding.
Come supplied with spinning base.
